SUMMARY

 A Millennium class ship, Silver Shadow is the sister ship to Silver Whisper. Like her sister, Silver Shadow is designed to cater to passengers seeking a luxury cruise. The service, food and small luxuries set the cruise experience apart.  

Silver Shadow follows the Silversea model of having the accommodations forward and the public areas aft. An exception is that Silver Shadow has a forward facing observation lounge.

Despite her size, she has the standard features guests expect in a modern cruise, i. e.. bars, a main dining room, a specialty restaurant, a buffet, a spa, a fitness center, a library, an internet center and an outdoor pool.   There are no waterslides or amusement park features. 

All of the accommodations on Silver Shadow are designated suites. There are several categories of suites. Not all suites have balconies but all have marble-floored bathrooms.

Fares are “all inclusive” but do not include such things as the ship's La Dame specialty restaurant or certain premium wines and spirits.

The ship attracts an international mix of well to do and well-traveled people.
