Turning northwards, Breakaway paid a call at the French island of Martinique.

The final port of call was St. John's on the island of Antigua.
|

With Breakaway once again were Silver Wind (above right) and Celebrity Summit (below).
Breakaway spent the next three days at sea. The first two were sunny and calm but on the third, Breakaway passed through a storm. Breakaway handled the turbulent sea well with only slight movement of the ship.
Returning to New York City, the skies were clear and bright but it was bitterly cold. The Caribbean seemed far away.
