Serenade of the Seas gets around. Her itineraries take her all over the globe. On this voyage, she was re-positioning from Boston, where she had spent some time doing Canada and New England cruises to Fort Lauderdale, her base for the winter Caribbean season. However, rather than take a direct route, Serenade wandered through the Caribbean before arriving at her destination.
The cruise began on a rainy, late autumn day in Boston.
Within a day, Serenade was in warmer waters and by day 5, she was in the popular Eastern Caribbean port of St. Maarten.
Serenade had to do little more than drift overnight to get to the next port, St. John, Antigua.
Sailing further south, Serenade arrived in Barbados.
With a sea day in between, Serenade called at Aruba.
The final port of call was the nearby island of Curacao. Serenade docked at the Megaship Pier near the old Dutch Riff fort.
Two more days at sea and Serenade was at Fort Lauderdale, her final destination.
