Grand Cayman
|
Grand Cayman is not normally a stop on Oasis' Western Caribbean itinerary. However, it is along the route from Jamaica to Cozumel and the ship often sails by in sight of Grand Cayman. Thus, when a passenger had a medical emergency, the captain decided to enter the harbor at Grand Cayman rather than do a helicopter evacuation. There is no cruise ship pier in Grand Cayman so the evacuation was done by tender. Here, we see Oasis entering the harbor and turning to exit. (See video).
