Perhaps surprisingly, autumn cruises to Canada - New England are often quite sunny. However, there is always the possibility of rain. In this feature, we see Liberty of the Seas, the only modern cruise ship equipped with its own flock of penguins, encountering such a day.
It is early on an October morning and Liberty of the Seas is proceeding through the Bay of Fundy towards St. John, New Brunswick. Behind her is Seven Seas Navigator going to the same destination. The weather on this Canada - New England cruise has not been bad but on this morning it is quite grey. There is hope that the sun will appear latter in the day.

At times, the rain stops and the sky brightens as if the sun were going to come out.
However, it is a false hope and more showers arrive. From the far side of the St. John River, it is sometimes difficult to see Liberty and Regal Princess through the rain.

A few days later at the end of the cruise, Liberty sits in the autumn sunshine at her base in Bayonne, New Jersey.
