Horizon first entered service in 1990 for Celebrity Cruises.

For much of her time with Celebrity, Horizon was based in New York City. However, she also sailed the Caribbean.

In 2005, Horizon shifted to Island Cruises and became Island Star. Although she had a new name and livery, she was still a familiar sight in the Caribbean.
