Mid-morning on a winter's day in the Caribbean and Freedom of the Seas is off St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

From the ship, passengers can see the Passeo del Morro (the seaside walkway that runs along the city wall), Puerto de San Juan (the city gate), the cathedralspires and the governor's mansion. Those ashore get a good view as the ship passes.
After rounding the peninsula, Grandeur turns to port in the main part of the harbor and docks at Pier No. 3 in front of Old San Juan.
