As Royal Caribbean continued its restart of operations following the industry-wide COVID 19 pause, its ships were out and about in the Caribbean. In this pictorial, we present photos of five of its ships that we encountered.
Operating out of New York harbor, Anthem of the Seas did a series of cruises that brought her deep into the Caribbean. Above left: Anthem in Antigua. Above right: Anthem in St. Thomas.
In St. Maarten, Anthem was joined by her predecessor as New York - New Jersey ship, Explorer of the Seas.

Also calling in St. Maarten was Royal's Baltimore-ship, Enchantment of the Seas. (See more photos of Enchantment in the Caribbean).
Enchantment was not the only Vision class ship in St. Maarten. Waiting to be summoned back into service, Rhapsody of the Seas had taken up temporary residence. The ship did not stand idle at a pier. Rather, she could be seen sailing off shore, thus keeping in operational condition.
Jewel of the Seas was also not providing passenger service. Instead, Jewel was sailing from port to port meeting other Royal Caribbean ships that were providing cruises. Crew members who tested positive for COVID were transferred from those ships onto Jewel for quarantine, thus distancing them from guests and other crew members. Below left: Jewel in St. Maarten.
