EXPLORER OF THE SEAS GOES TO EUROPE |

After many years of being Royal Caribbean's New York - New Jersey ship, Explorer of the Seas set forth to broaden her horizons. In the Spring of 2015, she arrived in Cadiz, Spain and underwent and extensive refit and revitalization. She then headed north to do a season of cruising out of Southampton, England. In this feature, we see her in Southampton and in two other European ports.

Late in the afternoon, Explorer swings off her berth and starts the process of turning towards the harbor entrance.

The turn requires her to come about 180 degrees.
