As the sun begins to set over Halifax, Queen Mary 2 gets underway. She does not proceed directly out to sea but moves further up into the harbor.
As she reaches the widest part of the harbor, she begins a slight turn to starboard.

Moving over to the Dartmouth side of the harbor, she begins a turn to port.
This turn becomes a loop so that the ship ends up facing the mouth of the harbor. She then proceeds down the Halifax side of the harbor and out to sea.
