CELEBRITY SILHOUETTE GOING AND COMING page one |

Celebrity Silhouette is docked at cruise terminal 24 in Fort Lauderdale. As five o'clock approaches, she casts off her lines and moves off sideways into the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway.

After proceeding forward a short distance, Silhouette turns 90 degrees to starboard, which brings her into the Entrance Channel for the harbor.
|
|
With the mansions and condominiums off to port, Silhouette passes through the channel and out into the open sea.
|
|
It has been a busy day in Fort Lauderdale and some of the cruise ships (Regal Princess and Nieuw Amsterdam) that were in port with her are still in sight. However, Silhouette heads off in her own direction.
