Although Costa is an Italian-based line catering primarily to the European cruise market, its ships ranger far and wide. This includes voyages to and around the Caribbean. One Costa ship that is no stranger to the Caribbean is Costa Magica.
Magica's design has proven suitability for Caribbean cruises. She is based on the design used by Carnival Cruise Lines for its Destiny and Conquest class ships. These ships have been the workhorses of the Carnival fleet in the Caribbean for many years and have had sustained popularity. In this photo feature, we first see Magica at the Nevis Street Quay in St. John's Antigua. |
Sharing a pier with Magica is AIDAluna (above left). Also in port are AIDAperla and Anthem of the Seas (above right).
