Having successfully backed in, Adventure of the Seas docks at the berth closest to the cruise terminal. Also in port is Anthem of the Seas.

In the late afternoon, Adventure is bathed in bright sunlight.

On another occasion, Adventure is docked at the same berth but with her bow towards the cruise terminal. Captains decide whether to dock bow first or stern first based on a number of considerations such as the sea state, predicted weather conditions, and the traffic in the port. Also, if the ship needs to do a crew drill in which the lifeboats on one side will be launched, the ship will have to dock with its opposite side to the pier (e.g. if the starboard lifeboats are to be launched, the ship must dock with its port side along the pier).
